Hello! My name is Prachi, and I'm a second-generation Indian American woman still struggling with my body image. Due to the lack of representation for Asian American women, I had found it difficult to find my place in the United States. For my Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Capstone Project, I decided to research how digital tools can be used to uplift Asian American women through interviews. All of the Asian American women whom I interviewed shared their experiences, allowing me to view my body in new, healthy ways. I hope that this website can be a resource for other Asian American women who find it difficult to find their place between their ethnic and American standards.
